Hey everyone. I hope you remember me from 2 weeks ago. I'm Ishan Arya and I am again posting about a new topic this week. This is a great topic that my teacher has chosen for us to respond to an argument stating if we should have to write a resume', cover letter, and application to get into an elective. I am all for this because I, again, am thinking about the future and how to get ready for it. I hope you like this post.
Each school has a different way to get student's into electives. Some school's do the first come first serve rule. Others have the smartest people in the elective they want. I agree with my teacher that school's should have a professional way of getting kid's into elective's, resumes'. Resumes' help the teacher's know if your good or not in school and if you aren't good, you don't deserve a good, fun class. Also, resumes' are a good way to prepare students' for the future as they become adults and have to convince bosses to let them in the job. School is what prepares you for what is coming and this would perfectly fit that. Overall I think having to fill out resumes', cover letters, and applications are a great thing to do for electives.
