Single Gender! No Way!

    This blog post is by Ishan Arya, the community leigson for this week. I will be posting a persuasive blog post going against single-gender schools. This will be the Task 2 blog post. I have many reasons to go against single-gender schools which I will post here. I hope by the end you won't want single-gender schools either.
    Single-gender schools are used only in some parts of the U.S. They are not used in many places because they are not that great. As an individual going to a mixed-gender school, I think the school prepares me better for life than a single-gender school. I used to be a former student in India. There they have single-gender schools. I like mixed-gender schools better. Mixed-gender schools are better to prepare you for things such as college, adulthood, jobs. They get you more used to seeing different types of the same race earlier so your more comfortable. Think about when you were young and you only wanted to sit with your boy friends or the opposite. As you got older and continued in the mixed-gender school, you got more used to the feeling and interacted more. This prepared you for life for when you have to meet the other gender. These are a few reasons of why mixed-gender schools are better.
