Is Separating classrooms a Good Idea?-Shiva Task 3

I think separating boys and girls in classes is beneficial yet it could also be a negative action. I think this could be something that can help many students because many kids in middle school and 5th grade usually flirt with each other. If this happens, they will not care about education and fail all their tests and so on. If they separate the gender, they would not be admiring a girl and they may focus on their studies. To maintain a strong focus for studies is something terrific to have and sometimes you would need to separate the gender to do that. In the passage it states that " Test scores improved enough to remove P.S. 140 from the state’s list of struggling schools." This explains that after they separated the genders, they got better test grades which proves that my point is correct.
The reason that i think this action could be a negative action is that students could turn to be stereo types which can get them into trouble. Like the passage stated, " 'A boy who has never been beaten by a girl on an algebra test could have some major problems having a female supervisor,' she said." This tells that from this action, kids can become stereo typical.
As you can see, this decision could leave the kids into either a negative or bright path. We can now conclude that this process must contain a lot of thinking because this could either end in a good way or bad way.
